MAX3060E/MAX3061E/ 15kV ESD-Protected, Fail-Safe, 20Mbps, MAX3062E Slew-Rate-Limited RS-485/RS-422 Transceivers in a SOT General Description Features The MAX3060E/MAX3061E/MAX3062E high-speed True Fail-Safe Receiver While Maintaining transceivers for RS-485/RS-422 communication contain EIA/TIA-485 Compatibility one driver and one receiver. These devices feature fail- Enhanced Slew-Rate Limiting Facilitates safe circuitry, which guarantees a logic-high receiver Error-Free Data Transmission (MAX3060E and output when the receiver inputs are open or shorted. This MAX3061E) means that the receiver output is a logic high if all 1nA Low-Current Shutdown Mode transmitters on a terminated bus are disabled (high Hot-Swappable for Telecom Applications impedance).
