MAX4518/MAX4519 19-1070 Rev. 1 5/98 Precision, 4-Channel/Dual 2-Channel, Low-Voltage, CMOS Analog Multiplexers General Description Features The MAX4518/MAX4519 precision, monolithic, CMOS Guaranteed On-Resistance Match analog multiplexers (muxes) offer low on-resistance Between Channels (<4 ) (less than 100), which is matched to within 4 Low On-Resistance (<100 ) between channels and remains flat over the specified Guaranteed Flat On-Resistance over Signal analog signal range (10 max). They also offer low leak- Range (<10) age over temperature (NO-off leakage current less than 2nA at +85C) and fast switching speeds (transition time Guaranteed Low Charge Injection (<5pC) less than 250ns). The MAX4518 is a 4-channel device, NO-Off Leakage Current <2nA at +85C and the MAX4519 is a dual 2-channel device. COM-Off Leakage Current <5nA at +85C The MAX4518/MAX4519 are fabricated with Maxims Electrostatic Discharge Protection >2000V low-voltage silicon-gate process. Design improvements Single-Supply Operation (+2.7V to +15V) yield extremely low charge injection (less than 5pC) and guarantee electrostatic discharge protection greater than Bipolar-Supply Operation (2.7V to 8V) 2000V. Low Power Consumption (<300W) These muxes operate with a single +2.7V to +15V supply Rail-to-Rail Signal Handling or with bipolar 2.7V to 8V supplies, while retaining TTL/CMOS-Logic Compatible CMOS-logic input compatibility and fast switching.
