MAX690A/MAX692A/ Microprocessor Supervisory Circuits MAX802L/MAX802M/ MAX805L General Description Features The MAX690A/MAX692A/MAX802L/MAX802M/MAX805L Precision Supply Voltage Monitor: reduce the complexity and number of components 4.65V for MAX690A/MAX802L/MAX805L required for power-supply monitoring and battery- 4.40V for MAX692A/MAX802M control functions in microprocessor (P) systems. They Reset Time Delay: 200ms significantly improve system reliability and accuracy Watchdog Timer: 1.6s Timeout compared to separate ICs or discrete components. Battery-Backup Power Switching These parts provide four functions: 200A Quiescent Supply Current 1) A reset output during power-up, power-down, and 50nA Quiescent Supply Current in Battery- brownout conditions. Backup Mode 2) Battery-backup switching for CMOS RAM, CMOS P, Voltage Monitor for Power-Fail or Low-Battery or other low-power logic. Warning 3) A reset pulse if the optional watchdog timer has not Power-Fail Accuracy Guaranteed to 2% been toggled within 1.6s.
