The MAX803LEXR is an express digital DC-DC regulator from Analog Devices. It is designed to reduce the number of external components required for system implementations while simultaneously providing faster transient responses with improved load regulation. It is available in a small, total-solution package with integrated power management functions, including a high-efficiency synchronous buck converter, high-side MOSFET and low-side MOSFET, current limit and soft-start. The regulator operates with a tight 0.9V-2.5V input voltage range and provides a 0.9V-VIN output voltage that can be adjusted between 0.8V-VIN with the addition of a single resistor. It also features programmable soft-start, low-noise operation, adjustable current limit, indication of power-OK and fault conditions, over-temperature protection, and a low quiescent current of only 24µA.
