The BMP388 with Board Mount Pressure Sensors, manufactured by Bosch, is a MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) absolute barometric pressure sensor. The BMP388 is a high precision, low power consumption device designed to measure absolute pressure in the range of 300-1200 hPa with an accuracy tolerance of ± 1 hPa and resolution accuracy of 0.08 hPa. It is capable of continuous and uninterrupted 24-bit measurements for a period of up to 5 years, depending on the selected operation mode. The device is capable of measuring barometric pressure, altitude, and temperature. The BMP388 has various features such as autonomous operation, built-in temperature compensation, and an active analog filter. In addition, the device has a power down mode, and a range of widely used interfaces for communication and data processing, including SPI, I2C, and UART.
