The Bourns 7870-RC is a radial leaded wire-wound power resistor designed to handle high power applications. It has a maximum operating temperature of 175°C, and can handle power up to 120 Watts. The 7870-RC provides superior electrical performance due to its low internal resistance and inductance. The wide range of resistance values available (from 0.1 ohms up to 1000 ohms) makes it suitable for a variety of applications in many industries. With its flame retardant coating, it is especially advantageous in applications where high heat dissipation is an issue. The 7870-RC is an excellent choice for many high power applications.
