The Bourns MF-R050 Resettable Fuse with PPTC-60V Max 40Amps Max is a polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) fuse designed for applications requiring over-current protection. This compact, RoHS-compliant device features a fast acting, self-resetting polymeric capacitors that react quickly to potentially hazardous over-current conditions. With a maximum voltage of 60V and a maximum current of 40A, the MF-R050 provides reliable over-current protection. Additionally, the device is designed with a maximum hold rating of .50 and a trip rating of 1.00. This PPTC device also offers low-resistance and low thermal impedance, making it ideal for linear and switching mode power supplies, LED lighting, security systems, and motor control circuits.
