ACFL-6211U, ACFL-6212U Bi-directional High Speed, Low Power Digital Optocoupler 2 TM with R Coupler Isolation in a Stretched 12-Pin Surface Mount Plastic Package Data Sheet Description Features The ACFL-6211U and ACFL-6212U are dual channel, Wide temperature range: 40 C to +125 C bi-directional, high speed digital CMOS optocouplers. The 5 V CMOS compatibility stretched SO-12 stretched package outline is designed to be 40 kV/s common-mode rejection at V =1000V (typ) CM compatible with standard surface mount processes and Low propagation delay: occupies the same land area as their single channel stretched ACFL-6211U: 25 ns at I = 10 mA (typ) F SO8 package. ACFL-6212U: 60 ns at I = 4 mA (typ) F This digital optocoupler uses an insulating layer between the Compact, auto-insertable stretched SO12 packages light emitting diode and an integrated photo detector to Worldwide safety approval: provide electrical insulation between input and output. UL 1577 recognized, 5kV /1 min. RMS Each channel of the digital optocoupler has a CMOS detector IC CSA Approved with an integrated photodiode, a high speed trans-impedance IEC/EN/DIN EN 60747-5-5 amplifier, and a voltage comparator with an output driver. Each channel is also isolated from the other. Applications Avago R2Coupler technology provides reinforced insulation and reliability that delivers safe signal isolation critical in high CANBus and SPI communications interface temperature industrial applications.
