The ACPL-214-500E Optocoupler manufactured by Broadcom is a type of transistor output optocoupler designed to provide electrical isolation between two circuits. It is a high gain transistor output optocoupler with an excellent common mode transient immunity of up to 3000Vrms, making it suitable for use in applications where high voltage related noise is a potential issue.
