Data Sheet ACPL-P346/ACPL-W346 2.5-Amp Output Current Power, GaN and SiC MOSFET Gate Drive Optocoupler with Rail-to-Rail Output Description Features The Broadcom ACPL-P346/W346 contains an AlGaAs 2.5A maximum peak output current LED, which is optically coupled to an integrated circuit with 2.0A minimum peak output current a power output stage. This optocoupler is ideally suited for Rail-to-rail output voltage driving power, GaN (Gallium Nitride) and SiC(Silicon 120 ns maximum propagation delay Carbide) MOSFETs used in inverter or AC-DC/DC-DC 50 ns maximum propagation delay difference converter applications. The high operating voltage range of LED current input with hysteresis the output stage provides the drive voltages required by 100 kV/s minimum Common Mode Rejection (CMR) at gate controlled devices. The voltage and high peak output V = 1500V CM current supplied by this optocoupler make it ideally suited I = 4.0 mA maximum supply current CC for direct driving MOSFETs at high frequency for high Under Voltage Lock-Out protection (UVLO) with efficiency conversion. The ACPL-P346 and ACPL-W346 hysteresis have the highest insulation voltage of V = 891 V IORM peak Wide operating V Range: 10V to 20V CC and V = 1140Vpeak respectively in the IEC/EN/DIN EN IORM Industrial temperature range: 40C to +105C 60747-5-5.
