The Broadcom HCPL-0453-500E is an optocoupler designed for high-speed signal transmission between two circuits. It is a low input current, high common-mode transient immunity device with a maximum data rate of 1 Mbps, one channel and a current output of 16mA. It is designed to isolate digital signals and provide insulation between the two circuits. The optocoupler has a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and is capable of operating in high voltage applications up to a peak of 3kV.
