The HCPL-0721-500E is a high speed optocoupler manufactured by Broadcom that is designed for use in high speed digital logic applications. It is a monolithic device that integrates a light sensing avalanche phototransistor detector and a drive transistor in the same package. This optocoupler has a high speed response time of 25 megabits/second (MBd), one channel, and a low input current of only 150 milliamperes (mA). The device is suitable for use with both TTL and CMOS digital logic circuits, and provides a high level of circuit isolation and high noise immunity for your embedded system or application. Additionally, it also offers low operating power consumption and standard 2.54 mm Pitch PC board assembly.
