Additional Infomation About Product

The HCPL-091J-500E with OptoCoupler 4-CH 16-Pin SOIC N T/R, manufactured by Broadcom, is a 4-channel optocoupler with an integrated transformer that operates on a single 5V supply and provides coupling isolation of up to 5 kVrms for one minute. It is ideal for high-voltage isolation between input and output circuits, as it offers greater signal separation and immunity to noise and ground loops than regular optocouplers. Its 4-channel SOIC-N package enables high-density designs and its maximum collector-emitter voltage of 500 V provides an enhanced capability for driving high-voltage loads. It has an on-state current transfer ratio of 500% minimum and a CTR (current transfer ratio) guaranteed between 50%-200% from 0° to 70°C. Its high-speed transistor output is designed to drive the gate of an triac directly with a single active resistor.
