Additional Infomation About Product

The SFH 551/1-1V is a photodiode in a 3-pin plastic package from Broadcom. It features a silicon photodiode and high sensitivity to visible light. It is used for applications such as intrusion detectors, presence sensors, and reflection sensors. The package has a radial epoxy lens which provides a large optical aperture angle of 110 degrees and an internal optical filter which enhances the sensitivity in the visible spectrum. It has a dark current of <10 nA and a response time of <1 microsecond.
