Additional Infomation About Product

The 40-109P is a thermistor-based temperature probe manufactured by Caltronics. It is a medium-sized cylindrical probe with a stainless steel stem and an epoxy-coated thermistor element. The thermistor element is a 5mm diameter bead with a negative temperature coefficient of resistance. The 30? cable is flex-rated and has a ‘mini’ plug attached to it. The cable and connector are designed to be waterproof, making this temperature probe suitable for use in harsh environments. The thermistor element is selected to provide an output of approximately 10 mV/°F when read with an accurate voltmeter. This temperature probe can be used for measuring air, liquid, and solid temperatures in industrial, environmental and medical applications.
