The CN3158 with PMIC – Battery Management ESOP-8 RoHS is an eight pin, surface mount electronic part manufactured by Consonance. It is designed to provide integrated protection and battery management functions for lithium-ion (Li-ion) and lithium-polymer (Li-Po) batteries. It features voltage detection, over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuit, and temperature protection. The CN3158 supports disconnect of the load up to 5V or down to 0V, and connected to load up to 7.5V. It also features three input options (Usb, VIN1, VIN2) to monitor battery charging condition. Furthermore, this part is RoHS compliant and offers excellent EMI, ESD, and EFP protection for maximum reliability.
