Yellow Polyester Material Black Conductive Strip 1/2 12 Description: Descos disposable heel grounder provides a path-to-ground and does not generate a charge when used with an ESD floor. The highly visible yellow polyester fabric identifies wearers as properly grounded. The material is non-marring and will not mark floors. The disposable heel grounder is designed for single use and should be removed and disposed of after use. Installation: 1. Insert the non-adhesive end of the heel grounder inside the shoe so that the black dot is in the center of the heel area. 2. Wrap the heel grounder around the back (or side) of shoe so that the adhesive can be adhered to the bottom of the heel. 3. Remove perforated section by lifting the paper backing from the middle as shown. 4. Press adhesive part of the foot grounder to the heel of the shoe. Do not allow adhesive to come in contact with any part of the shoe except for the heel. The adhesive may leave a residue. Remove perforated section here and begin peeling towards the left 5. Step in to shoe. Disposable heel grounder is to be installed on both shoes and used with ESD flooring. 6.
