Additional Infomation About Product

The SEN0413 manufactured by DF Robot is an infrared distance sensor module that can measure distances ranging from 0.2 to 12 meters. It can be connected to a microcontroller module through I2C and UART protocols and it runs at an operating voltage of 4.8-5.2V DC. The SEN0413 is designed to recognize variations in infrared light intensity, using the output signal from an infrared emitter and a receiver to accurately calculate the distance between the device and the object in front of it. The module emits a continuous wave of infrared light and detects when the beam is interrupted or reflected by an object. The time needed for the signal to come back gives the distance of the object from the module in millimeters. The unit has temperature compensation which allows it to accurately measure in various temperatures, and it is also equipped with a programmable gain amplifier that can adjust the sensing range according to lighting conditions. Additionally, the module is created with a durable ABS shell which provides a reliable and safe environment for the electronic component. The reliable sensing range, temperature compensation, and durable housing make the SEN0413 a reliable, cost-effective solution for any distance sensing requirement.
