BA157 is a silicon bridge rectifier diode manufactured by Diotec. It has a maximum current rating of 1 Amp, a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 600V, an average forward rectified current of 1 Amp, and a surge forward current rating of 5 Amps. The diode is designed to provide efficient, dependable rectifying performance in high-power applications and is suitable for reverse voltage protection, capacitor input filtering, and free-wheeling in flyback applications. It features a glass-encapsulated case and flat leads to allow reliable soldering onto heatsinks and boards. The diode is RoHS compliant and has a maximum reverse leakage current rating of 100µA.
