SemiconductorThe 1N5819 with Schottky Barrier Diodes (SBD) is a DO-41 RoHS compliant diode manufactured by GD Semiconductor. It is a surface-mount, low-current, high-efficiency device that is widely used in commercial electronics for rectifying and switching. The 1N5819 SBD has an average forward current of 1A, a peak forward voltage of 40V, a reverse voltage leakage of 60uA, and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The device can tolerate an ambient temperature of up to 150°C for up to 10 seconds. It also has polarity markings to indicate the directions of the diode's anode and cathode. SBDs have a very fast switching response and are popular for high-frequency applications. Additionally, the low reverse voltage leakage of the 1N5819 makes it suitable for use in high-efficiency power supplies.
