It is a high performance discharge tube that is specifically designed for surge protection and EMI/RFI (electromagnetic interference/radio frequency interference) filtering applications in telecom base stations, industrial power and transmission systems and other environments that need fast and reliable response. It features a metal oxide varistor (MOV) element with a discharge path of 8x10mm in size. The MOV is housed in an RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant enclosure, making it safe to use in a wide range of applications. This discharge tube offers superior response time and current handling capabilities over other types of GDTs (Gas Discharge Tubes) and is capable of providing superior protection against damaging surges and EMI/RFI.
