EG1501 is a switching controller from EG, housed in a SOP-16_150mil RoHS package. It is designed to provide fast, accurate control of an integrated power converter. It features integrated high-speed power switches, current sensing, transient protection, system health monitoring and self-protection functions. It is suitable for high-efficiency power conversion applications in automotive, lighting and consumer electronics. It has an integrated oscillator, which enables synchronization and a split-gate architecture, which improves efficiency. Also, it provides a 5V output voltage with approximately 40mA of output current. Additionally, it supports in-system programming and provides an open-drain fault output.
