The AMG8832EK part of Embest is an 8x8 infrared array thermometer, an integrated circuit that provides thermopile array and signal processing circuitry. It is ideal for contactless temperature sensing and can detect temperatures of the surrounding environment and produce a row and column of data representing an 8x8 infrared distribution image. The resolution of the temperature distribution image is 8x8 pixel with a temperature resolution of 0.25°C. It is designed for use in a variety of applications such as medical, industrial, security, and automotive. The Embest AMG8832EK thermometer is highly sensitive and has a temperature range of -20 to +80°C, with a temperature accuracy of ±2.5°C.
