Additional Infomation About Product

The Everlight EL851 with Transistor Output Optocouplers Photo Transistor Thru-Hole is a 5-pin semiconductor device used to electrically isolate circuits. It works by using a light emitting diode (LED), which transmits a light signal, and a photo-transistor, which receives the light signal and amplifies it. This helps provide electrical isolation between two circuits. The isolation that this optocoupler provides is up to a galvanic current of common-mode noise rejection of up to 500 VRMS. The 5-pin thru-hole package allows for easy assembly and improved reliability.
