The IRM-3638T-X is an infrared receiver manufactured by Everlight. It is a through-hole device which can be mounted on a circuit board. It is RoHS compliant and uses an embedded phototransistor that can detect and receive infrared signals to a range of 36 kHz. It operates at an operating temperature range of -30 to+85°C and after sale service temperature of -20 to +70°C . The receiver has a sensitivity range of 10m to 40m IR range, low external component count, and low current consumption of 35mA. The pinout consists of an anode, cathode, collector, base, and a ground pin. It has a wide operating voltage range of 3V to 5.5V, and is available in a 14 pin DIP package format.
