COIL0.1 is part of Ferrocore, an open-source, low-cost, wireless magnetic sensing technology created by the Merilab Research Team. COIL0.1 is a form of magnetic sensing technology that can be used to detect and measure the positions and orientations of objects within a 3D space. It uses a small embedded magnetometer and an Arduino-compatible board to measure magnetic fields. The technology works by tracking changes in magnetic field strength and direction as objects move through space. COIL0.1 is capable of measuring acceleration, location, orientation, and environmental conditions such as temperature and pressure. It is designed for DIY projects and can be used for robotics, virtual reality (VR) development, motion-tracking, and all sorts of projects which need motion sensing.
