Ferrocore FR2.5 is a ferrite-reinforced elastomeric material designed for applications requiring maximum vibration and noise isolation. It is made from a combination of specialized rubber and ferrite particles that offer greater tensile strength and improved damping characteristics. FR2.5 helps to reduce sound transmission and absorb shocks, which helps to reduce vibration in sensitive machines and equipment. It has excellent thermal resistance and can withstand operational temperatures of -40°C to +250°C. FR2.5 is also extremely resistant to fuels, oils and ozone, making it suitable for a variety of applications in the automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors.
