It supports amplified DWDM 10 Gb/s SONET/SDH, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and 10 Gigabit Fibre Channel applications over 80km of fiber without dispersion compensation. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in the XFP 3 MSA. The optical transceiver is compliant per the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU .
