& PaykelThis ICK S 17 X 17 X 15 with Heatsink is a raw extruded, grilled, natural heatsink manufactured by Fisher & Paykel. It is 17mm long, 17mm wide, and 15mm high. It is made from aluminum and has etches near the edges. Its purpose is to absorb the thermal energy of components such as integrated circuits and divert it away from them to prevent them from overheating. Its finned surfaces increase its capacity to absorb and dissipate heat, which in turn increases the operational life of the component it is attached to.
