FIX-HP2-20 is a combination anchor and lag shield anchor system. It is composed of two parts: a plastic anchor and a two-piece lag shield. The anchor is a plastic sleeve manufactured from high-density polypropylene and reinforced by helical ribs. The two-piece lag shield, also made from high-density polypropylene, provides additional reinforcement and is secured with a 1/4 x 2-1/2 inch hex head lag screw, which is tightened to the wall or other substrate with a hex head bit. The FIX-HP2-20 is designed for use in hollow walls and hollow ceiling structures where lightweight fixtures and fittings may be needed or required. It can be used in plaster, drywall, tile, hollow cement block, paneling, wood, and other substrates.
