The 1812-090 with Discharge Tubes (GDT/TSS) 1812 RoHS is a component designed and manufactured by FTR, a distributor of electronic components and accessories. It is a General Device Type Discharge Tube (GDT) with a maximum stress rating of 1812V. This GDT meets the requirements of the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards, which provides directives on how to reduce the use of hazardous materials in electronic and electrical equipment. The 1812-090 GDT operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and has a rated surge current of 10kA. It contains two elements, a capacitor and a spark-gap assembly. It is designed to protect DC and low-frequency AC electrical systems from damage caused by power surges, lightning strikes, and electrostatic discharges.
