MicroelectronicsThe FM2116 is a Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) with Battery Management System, manufactured by Fuman Microelectronics. It is in the small outline transistor (SOT) package and comes in a RoHS-compliant 6-pin SOT-23-6.The FM2116 is a low-cost single-cell Lithium-Ion battery charger, with an input voltage operating range of 4.2V to 6.5V. It provides a constant voltage and current bulk charge and a single rate CC/CV with preconditioning, and has built-in protections for overvoltage, short-circuit, and over temperature.It includes a built-in switch and a low-ripple high-efficiency flyback controller that regulates the output voltage and current. The FM2116 also provides LED turn off and low cost programming. Finally, it features low quiescent current consumption, high accuracy secondary side voltage sensing and feedback, and an auto-off function.
