FM5324B Fuman

The FM5324B eSOP-8 RoHS with PMIC – Battery Management manufactured by Fuman is a system-on-chip integrated with power-management IC optimized for Li-ion battery system. The device includes a wide range of charging and discharging protection functions such as over-temperature, overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent protection to ensure a safe and reliable operation for Li-ion batteries. Apart from the protections, the integrated circuit can provide fast charging via a programmable charging current up to 1A. It also supports sleep mode when the system requires minimal power consumption. Additionally, the device incorporates a processor core and an extended set of communications interfaces to allow an easy connection to and communication with host processor for system control and monitoring. The built-in system protections and integrated functions make the FM5324B cost-effective and suitable for compact battery-powered applications like mobile phones, digital cameras, and portable media players.
