The GS1011MEP-EVB2-S2W-WEB is a Wi-Fi-enabled development board from Gainspan that makes it easy for system developers to evaluate the features and capabilities of the GS1011 Wi-Fi system-on-chip (SoC). The board is designed to enable system integrators to quickly develop Wi-Fi solutions for the cloud and gateways. The GS1011MEP-EVB2-S2W-WEB is specifically designed for use as a low power, cost-effective, Wi-Fi client/server interface for consumer, automotive, and industrial applications. The board provides all the components necessary to evaluate the hardware and software needed to create Wi-Fi solutions. The GS1011MEP-EVB2-S2W-WEB includes an on-board MCU, dual Wi-Fi radios, multiple LED indicators, and other support hardware. The product also includes an integrated integrated thermal camera release that allows developers to evaluate the product under real world conditions. It also includes a proprietary Smart Wi-Fi desktop application which provides access to the board, firmware updates, and software development tools. As an added benefit, the product includes Gainspan’s Dual-Band Wi-Fi Application Programming Interface (API) for easy application development.
