turbine RT1T is a type of turbine manufactured by General Electric and is commonly used to generate power for large-scale industrial applications. It is a part of the GE Heavy EGT fleet of turbines, and features advanced technology that helps to increase efficiency and reliability. The RT1T is a two-shaft turbine, with one high-pressure shaft that is housed in a containment building, and a low-pressure shaft that is located outside. It is capable of producing up to 394 megawatts of electrical power at base load. The turbine features a horizontal-axis design and operates on a gas or steam cycle. It includes advanced features such as an electric recirculation system that helps to lower fuel costs and efficiency losses, as well as an auto-diagnostic system that helps to identify potential problems before they occur. The RT1T also has a number of additional features designed to reduce maintenance and upkeep costs over the long-term.
