The GW INSTEK LCR-8101G is an advanced electrical testing instrument capable of measuring inductance (L), capacitance (C) and resistance (R) with a high resolution of 0.1%. It has a large, 5-inch color TFT LCD display and offers a variety of measurement functions and operations, such as automatic frequency sweep (AFS), components sorting and a total of 4 test frequencies (100kHz, 120Hz, 1kHz, 10kHz). The optional 0.1% basic accuracy allows users to verify the device performance at three test frequencies and offers a significant improvement compared to the standard accuracy of 0.2%. The LCR-8101G features a full- and half-bridge configuration that can be selected to measure components, such as mini power factor correction (PFC) type components, with a centered Z, Zby and Zth measurement. It also offers frequency sweep, which can help improve the power factor of simulations and tests. The intuitive operation and user-friendly interface make it easy to use, and it can accommodate external input/output devices through IEEE-488 command sets.
