MFR 301 is a one-component, anaerobic sealant from Henkel that helps to prevent the loosening and leakage of threaded parts. It seals a variety of metals such as brass, steel, aluminum, and their respective alloys, and provides effective protection from vibration, shock, thermal cycling, and corrosion. It is a medium viscosity sealant that cures to a dark grey, slightly oil-tolerant seal in the absence of air. It is suitable for applications with temperatures between -55°C and +150°C, and has a shear strength on standard steels between 10 to 25 N/mm2.
