The SS14 is a Schottky Barrier Diode (SBD) manufactured by High Diode. It is made of a silicon epitaxial layer and a titanium-platinum-aluminum alloy layer that creates the Schottky contact. This diode is Small Signal capable and manufactured in a Surface Mounted (SM) chip configuration. It is an RoHS compliant device with standoff voltage ratings of 60-70 volts, with an average current rating of 200mA and a forward voltage of 0.45 volts. The SS14 diode also has a typical capacitance of 2.5pF and an ultra-low reverse leakage current of 1.25uA. It is widely used in voltage-clamping, reverse voltage protection, energy saving and switching applications, and is suitable for use in both analogue and digital circuits.
