The HT1621B with LCD drivers LQFP-48_7x7x05P RoHS is a Holtek integrated circuit chip manufactured for use in Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) systems. It contains 4 independent LCD drivers (each with ~199 segment outputs) and two internal oscillators. The LCD drivers are all compliant with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances, a European environmental directive) and are housed in a high-density 48-pin Thin QFP (Quad Flat Pack) package which measure 7mm by 7mm by 0.5 mm. The HT1621B is suitable for displaying letters, numbers, and symbols on a wide variety of LCD displays. It is designed to save power by avoiding flickering, automatically controlling the launching data & LCD refresh, and has clock and data auto-key scanning functions. The HT1621B is ideal for numeric display systems such as those found in electronic scales, digital meters, electronic dictionaries, etc.
