Additional Infomation About Product

The HT9170D is a monolithic integrated circuit produced by Holtek which is used to decode DTMF (dual-tone multi-frequency) dialing signals. It is an inexpensive and low-power device that is suitable for use in a wide range of telephone related products. The HT9170D features high immunity against interference from powerline noise and pulse dialing, and incorporates a wide dynamic range to enable it to detect signals from various types of telephone lines. It also has a multi-path suppression circuit which helps to reject unwanted ‘echo’ signals, and a low distortion microphone pre-amplifier making it ideal for hands-free telephone applications. The HT9170D is pin-compatible with other DTMF decoders, making it suitable for use in existing designs with minimal changes.
