DG SERIES PRESSURE TRANSDUCER APPLICATIONS MODEL DG PRESSURE TRANSDUCER The Model DG is designed to meet the needs of AUTOMOTIVE the OEM whose applications demand a pressure brake systems fuel rail/injection transducer for hostile high temperature environ- engine oil ments. The DGs combination of rugged packaging, continuously variable internal signal amplification, and low price make transmissions it ideal for many automotive, compressor, and active suspensions hydraulic applications. ENERGY The steel case seals the internal electronics from MANAGEMENT the surrounding environment. The pressure media smart compressors contacts only 300 series stainless. From 5V excitation, the DGs 4.5 V ratiometric output can interface directly to many microprocessors with onboard A/D converters. This eliminates typical transducer support circuitry, lowering system cost and speeding system design. FEATURES BENEFITS Meets SAE J1211 specifications for under High reliability in tough, hostile environments hood applications Suitable for many applications 100 through 7000 PSIS ranges Speeds installation Integral automotive type connector Not damaged by wiring errors Reverse polarity and output protection Increased accuracy for microprocessor applications Ratiometric output Complete protection for electronics Sealed steel case High Temperature 125 C HOW TO ORDER DG 100 P S 3 P E Model Output E = 0.25 - 4.75 VDC Range Termination 100 01K 007 100 P = Packard 200 03K 015 200 300 05K 020 350 Pressure Port 500 7112 035 500 3 = 3/8 UNF PSI BAR Reference Unit S = Sealed (PSIS) P = PSI B = BAR Note: Not all combinations are available.
