The ULN2003AN is a high-voltage and high-current Darlington array transistor driver IC in a 16-pin DIP format, manufactured by HTC Korea. It comprises of seven darlington transistors, each capable of driving up to 500mA and 50V, providing outputs with minimal supply and rise times. Each driver is equipped with an open-collector output and corresponding common emitter and emitter-follower stages. With built-in protection of the outputs, this IC is also suitable for driving up to three different loads. For inductive loads, ULN2003AN includes flyback diodes and transient suppression diodes for each output. This IC also has a wide operating voltage range of 4.5V to 30V. Finally, the ULN2003AN is RoHS compliant, making it a good choice for environmentally friendly applications.
