The HTCSEMI HT8870ARWZ with WSOP18 is a RoHS-compliant telecommunication interface IC designed for use in GSM applications, as well as other Telecom applications. This IC is capable of providing 16kb of memory, a programmable 8-bit microcontroller, as well as a PLL (Phase Locked Loop) which provides timebase correction. It is also features extensive power management, providing very low power consumption. It also includes a wide array of interface options, such as analog and digital ADC/DAC, 3.3V and 1.8V I/O, and a serial port. Furthermore, to reduce EMI (electromagnetic interference) noise, the HT8870ARWZ also includes a built-in filter.
