The BCR450 board from Infineon is a compact and easy to use trainer board for learning and understanding the fundamentals of power electronics. The board is equipped with an embedded power board (32A, 600V) which consists of an integrated BCR450 IGBT module, a GTO, an insulated gate driver, heatsinks, three-phase filter choke, and terminals. The board also features a responsive on-board digital signal processor (DSP) with access to four different control techniques, such as digital (SPWM) and/or analog techniques. The board also features a wide range of testing and measurement capabilities and functions, to help students learn and understand the power electronics principles and behaviors. With the BCR450 board, students can build and develop various power electronic circuits, such as AC/DC converters, inverters, PFCs, and more.
