CIM144A1 is a submodule of the IP9001 Industrial Programmable logic control (IPC) system. It is a 16-bit 17.7 million Instruction Per Second (MIPS) single board computer with a 16-bit local bus and configurable peripheral interfaces. It provides real time control applications that are used to control industrial processes and operations, including motors, drives, conveyors, robotics and industrial networks. The CIM144A1 offers a variety of built in programming instructions such as software instructions, data manipulation instructions and multiple timers. Its main features include a high-speed, 16-bit data bus, a 16-bit wide local bus, four programmable timers, and various I/O peripheral devices (including GPAC and US-DIAC Ethernet ports). It also offers high-speed direct memory access (DMA) controllers, 10-bit analog to digital converter, real-time clock, stand-alone real-time operating system, and flash memory.
