Additional Infomation About Product

The 6N138SMT/R is an optocoupler manufactured by Isocom Components, Inc. It is a 4-pin optocoupler in a small SOP (SOIC-8) surface mount package. It consists of an infrared LED and a phototransistor isolated by an opaque insulation material. The LED is driven by a forward current of 10mA, and the phototransistor has a continuous collector-emitter voltage of 80V. The typical collector-emitter saturation voltage is 0.7V. The turn-on time is specified as 1.6uS and the turn-off time is 3.2uS. The isolation voltage is specified as 5000V rms. The 6N138SMT/R is suitable for use in industrial AC/DC coupling, high-speed PCM, voltage isolation, current isolation, and home appliance applications.
