The TLP126 with Optocouplers RoHS manufactured by Isocom is a MOSFET-based opto-isolator semiconductor component that is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant. It is composed of a Gallium Arsenide infra-red light emitting diode (IRED) and a MOSFET (Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor). The device is used for isolation of voltage and signals up to 400Vrms, and it is capable of providing total isolation up to 20,000Vrms. The TLP126 also offers protection against electrical noise and EMI (ElectroMagnetic Interference). The device is designed to provide a fast rise time and is perfect for switching power supplies and motor drives. It is also resistant to both heat and UV radiation.
