Cannon electrical connector 1. The 2S22 is a two-position, snap-lock circular connector series from ITT Cannon. It has a snap-lock bayonet coupling that ensures a secure connection in power, signal and data applications. This makes the 2S22 Series ideal for harsh and high vibration environments. This connector features a low profile design that prevents accidental stubbing during mating. It also features a flush style rear body to reduce void space in a panel and minimize installation space. 2. The 2S22 Series connector is made with a robust stainless steel shell which prevents corrosion and rusting, while providing excellent electrical properties. This connector is available in metal-clad, nickel-plated and polyacetaldehyde shells. It also features high-temperature, gold-plated contacts designed to provide a strong, low contact resistance connection. All contacts are individually isolated and surge protected through a 3-way metal fatigue resistant body to help protect against short or open circuits.
