Additional Infomation About Product

LDA100STR is a high-performance optically isolated thyristor from IXYS Corporation. This device is designed for general purpose applications and provides a short-circuit withstand current rating of 100A. It is a single-phase device with a minimum operating insulation voltage of 1800 volts, and is suitable for applications where electrically and optically isolated commutation is required. The LDA100STR uses an ACIL-compliant Isolated Gate Driver package. It features a majority carrier injection suppression (MCIS) technique for increased breakdown voltage and fast dv/dt response. The LDA100STR is ideal for motor control, power factor correction, UPS, and lighting control applications.
