Low R Load Switch with Overvoltage and Reverse Blocking Protection ON Features Brief Description Wide Input voltage range: 3V to 23V The KTS1677A is a slew-rate controlled, 30m (Typ), low 30V Absolute Ratings at VIN and VOUT resistance MOSFET switch intended to be inserted Maximum 5A continuous current between a power source and a load to isolate and protect Integrated FET with 30m (Typ) RON against abnormal voltage and current conditions. Featuring Wide Overvoltage threshold range slew-rate turn on control, to prevent excessive large inrush Fixed internal: 23V current, the KTS1677A also features several additional Adjustable: 4V to 23V protection functions, such as input 90V surge, input Open-Drain power good indicator overvoltage, input under-voltage protection, reverse Integrated protection current blocking, over-current limiting and over- Thermal Shutdown temperature protection. Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO) Operating from a wide input voltage range of 3V to 30V can Overvoltage Lockout (OVLO) cover USB PD applications to offer essential protection and VOUT to VIN Reverse Current Blocking enhance system reliability. The KTS1677A in the OFF Over-current limiting state can block voltages on the V /V pin of up to 30V IN OUT Surge and ESD Protection and prevent reverse currents. Two KTS1677A can be used IEC61000-4-5: 90V for VIN in to support dual power inputs connecting to the same IEC61000-4-2: 8KV Contact, 15KV Air for downstream device.
